Wondrous creations from recycled paper
Muench's papier mâché pieces are created predominately from recycled products. Colors are layered to create the rich surfaces. The entire process for each piece takes from one to several months to complete. The pieces range from humorous, whimsical depictions to aesthetic statements about the human condition represented in specific fauna or flora. They are generally for interior display, but even that is customizable, mostly.
In addition to the interior pieces, Ms. Muench created a sold-out limited, numbered edition of lizards, geckos and horned toads cast in resin and hand painted, for exterior presentation.They are now collector's items.
